Established in 2008 by The Scholars Educational Society, Lucknow Institute of Technology (LIT) is committed to delivering excellence in technical and management education. Located near CRPF, Bijnaur–Banthra Road, Lucknow, LIT focuses on building strong academic foundations and industry-oriented skills to prepare students for successful professional careers.
At LIT, we emphasize in-depth learning in all branches of Engineering and Management, supported by modern infrastructure, experienced faculty, and innovative teaching methodologies. Along with core academic development, the institute provides advanced training in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Robotics, enabling students to stay ahead in a competitive global landscape.

Late M.I.Siddiqui Founder Chairman of Lucknow Institute of Technology and Azad Group of Colleges.
Late Er M I Siddiqui a distinguished technocrat , educationist and philanthropist is the guiding light of our group of educational institutions.
A distinguished Electrical Engineer , he was head of the Power Generation Department of the state of U.P and served on the board of prestigious IIM Lko besides being on the board of multiple government & non government bodies.
His visionary leadership and unwavering dedication laid the foundation for our entire group of educational institutions. He didn't just build schools; he cultivated centers of excellence, driven by a deep commitment to accessible, quality education and holistic student development. We are eternally grateful for his profound impact, which continues to inspire and shape generations. His legacy of integrity, innovation, and service remains the guiding light of our mission. He will be remembered always.

We at Lucknow Institute of Technology are committed to groom this young pool of talent so that they are transformed into edupreneurs with quality mission. They become job-creators rather than job-hunters. With this dream in mind we sowed a seed in the fertile soil of the luscious landscape of Lucknow.I am happy to say that initially within a short span of seven years, the seed has not only sprouted but grown into a fully blossomed tree called LIT and is growing day by day on the right path. The calm and serene atmosphere of the location of the Institute is a strong motivating factor for young boys and girls to join this institute. We always strive to impart excellent quality education in the fields of technology and management. The constant endeavor of our team of highly qualified experienced and dedicated teachers, supported by equally impressive infrastructure has considerably helped our students in the acquisition and development of appreciable competency.I invite sincere and committed students who not only dream, but are also hard working to join LIT and become competent professionals. World is moving towards knowledge economy. Goldman Sachs’ famous BRIC report of 2003 predicts that India will become one of the top 5 economies of the world by 2050. In its another Global Economics Paper, it has also identified “Raise Basic Educational Achievement” and “Increase Quality and Quantity of Universities” as two of the top three things that India needs to do in order to achieve this status. Opportunity before us is immense and the task is onerous.
Your esteemed institute LIT has committed itself to play its humble role in the country’s march towards prosperity and global leadership by imparting world-class higher education to its students in the disciplines of engineering and management. LIT has been able to achieve this honor due to the dedicated efforts of its students, faculty, staff, management and all other stakeholders. My heartiest congratulations to one and all. Since the establishment (2008), LIT has evolved to reach and hold a unique position of pride in the Technical Education system amongst AKTU/BTE colleges and ranked no.1 amongst Polytechnic colleges of Lucknow .
The unique identity of our college is to provide Quality Education at affordable fees for all classes of society.
I welcome the new students to this unique Institution and wish them a memorable, meaningful and rewarding tenure and emerge as world class Engineers & Managers. I would urge them to prove as worthy citizens of our incredible country, India and good human beings of our beautiful Earth.

Lucknow Institute of Technology (LIT), established in 2008, is a premier technical institution in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and Board of Technical Education (BTE), Uttar Pradesh, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India.
LIT is consistently working towards achieving excellence in technical education and is committed to meeting the standards set by national accreditation bodies. We are actively preparing to become eligible for National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) recognition in the upcoming years.
